There is a saying that life and death are in the power of the tongue. There may not be a more valid statement. With our words, we can either build others up, speak life into them, encourage them, and motivate them. Out of the same mouth, our words can tear others down, speak defeat in to them, discourage them, and totally deflate their morale.

Choose carefully and wisely the words you use in every conversation.

An old saying is, "Sticks and stones may break my bones, but names will never hurt me." What a lie! I would rather break a bone, because I know that it will heal fully. Names, or hurtful words never go away. We may forgive those who say those words about us, but we never forget them.

Words, they are a powerful weapon. Choose your words carefully.
